The paint on the doormats remains intact over time. Discoloration may occur for various reasons such as continuous use or exposure to sun or rain, so if you want to keep it in perfect condition, avoid exposure to these elements.

The coconut fibers are attached to the base with glue, because of this, not all fibers are equally secured and it is completely normal for some fibers to shed at the beginning of use.

For cleaning, do it dry. Use a brush, do not use water or put it in the washing machine.

Each doormat is made from the husk of about 25 coconuts. First, the husks are "seasoned" in coastal lagoons where they are collected and then beaten by hand to extract the fiber. The doormats are painted and colored by hand one by one using different stencils. Subsequently, a traditional outdoor sun-drying technique is used to set the paint on the doormat's surface. Finally, the non-slip backing is added which keeps the doormat firmly in place and reduces the risk of slipping.
