Blue Whale Figurine

The blue whale, the largest animal ever to live on Earth, is a true ocean giant. It can measure over 30 meters long and weigh up to 200 tons, the equivalent of several dozen elephants.

An astonishing fact: despite its colossal size, the blue whale feeds almost exclusively on krill, tiny shrimp that it filters with its baleen plates. During feeding season, it can swallow up to 4 tons of krill per day! Its heartbeats are so powerful they can be heard several kilometers away. A tireless migrant, it travels thousands of kilometers between polar waters and tropical seas.

This Papo figurine faithfully reproduces the blue whale: slender silhouette, skin details, and realistic proportions. An ideal model to enrich a marine animal collection, invent grand stories, or raise children's awareness about the protection of this ocean giant threatened by human activities.
