The coconut fibers are attached to the base with glue. As a result, not all fibers are held with the same intensity, and at the beginning of its use, it is quite normal for some fibers to come loose.

For cleaning, proceed dry. Use a brush, do not use water, and do not machine wash.

Each doormat is made from the husk of approximately 25 coconuts. The husks are first "seasoned" in coastal lagoons where they are harvested, then hand-beaten to extract the fiber. The doormats are then hand-painted and colored one by one using different stencils. A traditional outdoor sun-drying technique then fixes the paint to the doormat's surface.
