The coconut fibers are attached to the base with glue. As a result, not all fibers are held with the same intensity, and it is perfectly normal for some fibers to come loose at the beginning of its use.

For cleaning, proceed dry. Use a brush, do not use water and do not machine wash.

Each doormat is made from the husks of approximately 25 coconuts. The husks are first "seasoned" in coastal lagoons where they are harvested, then manually beaten to extract the fiber.
