Elbphilharmonie Salt and Pepper Shakers

A tribute to Hamburg Designer Steve McGugan tells us about the ELBHARMONIE salt and pepper shakers: "Every time I travel from Copenhagen to Hamburg, the gateway to the world, I am fascinated by the developments at the Elbphilharmonie construction site on the banks of the Elbe. I find the design simply beautiful and very poetic. That's when the idea came to me to create a product that pays homage to this exceptional example of architecture, while also reflecting everyday life. PHILIPPI enthusiastically embraced my salt and pepper shakers, which I named ELBHARMONIE." Each salt and pepper shaker, considered individually, evokes a modern sculpture – united on their tray, they form a miniature surprisingly similar to the Elbphilharmonie with its undulating roof.
