The coconut fibers are attached to the base with glue. As a result, not all fibers are held with the same intensity, and at the beginning of its use, it is quite normal for some fibers to come loose.

For cleaning, dry clean. Use a brush, do not use water, and do not put in the washing machine.

Each doormat is made from the husks of approximately 25 coconuts. The husks are first "seasoned" in coastal lagoons where they are harvested, then beaten manually to extract the fiber. The doormats are then painted and colored by hand one by one using different stencils. A traditional open-air sun-drying technique then fixes the paint to the surface of the doormat. Finally, an anti-slip base is added to keep the doormat firmly in place and reduce the risk of slipping.
