Description +
Protective and attentive, the tigress watches over her cub tirelessly. In the wild, she raises her babies alone, hiding them in safe shelters and nursing them for several weeks before teaching them to hunt. Young tiger cubs stay with their mother until they are two years old, patiently learning all the techniques necessary for their survival.
The tigress is also a formidable hunter: she alone attacks prey sometimes much larger than herself, thanks to her strength and discretion. A surprising fact: the stripes of a tigress, like those of her cub, are unique to each individual and allow them to be identified, much like human fingerprints.
This Papo figurine tenderly and realistically illustrates the bond between a mother and her baby: finely sculpted striped fur, natural poses, and obvious complicity. An ideal model to complete a collection of wild animals, invent touching stories, or raise children's awareness of the lives of endangered big cats.
