The paint on the doormats remains intact over time. However, discoloration may occur due to intensive use or exposure to sun or rain. To keep it in perfect condition, it is recommended to avoid exposure to these elements.

The coconut fibers are attached to the base with glue. Therefore, not all fibers are attached identically, and it is perfectly normal for some to detach at the beginning of use.

For its maintenance, dry clean. Use a brush, without water and without machine washing.

Each doormat is made from the husk of approximately 25 coconuts. The husks are first "matured" in coastal lagoons where they are harvested, then hand-beaten to extract the fibers. The doormats are then painted and colored by hand, one by one, using different stencils. A traditional outdoor sun-drying technique is then used to fix the paint to the surface of the doormat. Finally, a non-slip base is added to keep the doormat firmly in place and reduce the risk of slipping.
