The coir fibers are attached to the base with glue. For this reason, not all fibers are attached uniformly, and when first used, it is completely normal for some fibers to come loose.

For cleaning, use a dry method. Use a brush, do not use water, and do not put it in the washing machine.

Each doormat is made from the husk of approximately 25 coconuts. The husks are first "seasoned" in the coastal lagoons where they are harvested, then hand-beaten to extract the fiber. The doormats are then hand-painted and colored one by one using different stencils. A traditional sun-drying technique is used to set the paint. Finally, a non-slip base is added to keep the doormat firmly in place and reduce the risk of slips.
