Pinocchio follows the story of an old woodcarver named Geppetto who carves a wooden puppet called Pinocchio. The puppet is brought back to life by a blue fairy, who informs him that he can become a real boy if he proves himself "brave, honest, and selfless." Pinocchio's efforts to become a real boy lead him to encounter a host of unsavory characters.
