About Avatar the Last Airbender
The world is divided into four nations: the Water Tribe, the Earth Kingdom, the Fire Nation, and the Air Nomads, each represented by a natural element for which they are named. The series centers on the journey of 12-year-old Aang , the current Avatar and last survivor of his nation. Produced by Nickelodeon and co-created with Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, Avatar: The Last Airbender was released in February 2005.
